Poll: Which Mass Effect 2 character is a "must" have in ME3

I was thinking about it and came to the realization with the whole ability to kill your entire party plus yourself, ME3 going to need to have a lot of new people in it, or the Lazarus project is going to get real busy. But in the transition from Mass Effect to its sequel we lost a lot of good characters, namely one of the better ones Wrex. So much question to you is, who must they bring into the next sequel for you? Personally myself it must be Tali, obviously since I romanced her on each of my 8 times playing through it (I did try Miranda once but I saved before and reloaded because it was as lame as her character).

*Note* Couldn't fit all the party into the poll, so I choose the ones I think are most likely to be voted (and tried to cover all romance options, sorry Samara)

Tali and Garrus already have their VAs hired on for ME3 as far as I know. How big a part they will play is still unclear, but considering they've been in your party for two games so far, I wouldn't be surprised if they stay there in ME3.

And if I had to choose between the two to keep only one, it'd be Garrus. He's like a Turian Solid Snake.

Seeing him get back up after helping me take down the Human Reaper was such a relief for me. After previous failures, his survival made me feel much better.

Miranda. Not only because she's my Sheps romantic interest but also because the potential of her alliances shifting could make for some good storytelling moments underneath all the "Reapers Are Bad" stuff we'll assuredly be getting.

idk why all the hate for Jack. She was a jerk, and it worked for her character. id take her. Id also like to keep thane. He was a good fighter and had the best story

garrus and miranda, garrus is like my long lost best friend..who we always got each others backs, or miranda, ecause shes a boss and becuz of that fucking ass..good lord almighty.

mordin wasn't too bad, kinda funny at times, and legion and thane are both badasses too.

everyone else i couldn't care less for really, they either didn't prove their worth or were just stupidly annoying.

I'd choose between Tali, Legion or Mordin. One of the things I enjoyed about Mordin (besides the obvious) is when you talked to him he would say more than the same sentence over and over again to explain why he's busy. I'm looking at you Garrus and your love of calibrating...

Please note Bioware, if you pull that stuff again PLEASE don't use the one line every single time. Take a lesson from Mordin.

Mordin Solus is the 'must have'. You've never seen him before, you'll be glad to.

Garrus Vakarian is the most important. Simply said, he's your good buddy. Same thing with Tali'Zorah if you're female.

Thane is really awesome. I wish they would create more cutscenes with him kicking ass. He is only second to Garrus when it comes to badassery. This is, of course, without counting Shepherd or Wrex. In my opinion, he also has the best backstory out of anyone out on the list.

Everyone else is just okay.

Garrus: I mean to me, he's really the backbone of the series. It just wouldn't be the same without him. Tali is great, but I'd not notice if she was gone, I just enjoy her presence. Wrex being missing didn't lessen ME2 for me, but Garrus was the first guy I went for in ME2.

Mordin became one of my favorite video game characters when you find out he's trying to find a cure for Joker.

Garrus and Tali. No question. There my two favorite characters and they've been with Shepard since the beginning.

Since you can lose any of your teammates (or none of them) I'm pretty sure the whole crew of the Normandy 2.0 will be available depending on who you managed to keep alive. Course I don't really care about Zaeed and I have yet to get the ninja chick so if they don't make it I don't care. Plus they're DLC so I doubt they'll play a major role in ME3.

As for people I want back on from ME1? Wrex. He needs to come back. The only problem I see with that happening is that depending if you didn't kill him in ME1 he was leading Clan Urdnot. I don't' imagine him coming back to the team because of that since he didn't come back in ME2. But this is the final game in the trilogy so there's always a chance...

I wouldn't mind a new character or two for the team, but they better be goddamn awesome. Can't jump on the Shepard bandwagon now that Reapers are here without some serious credentials.

Tali and Mordian, my two absolutely favorite characters in all Mass Effect. Legion is also a little guilty pleasure of mine, a machine slowly becoming more than he is, to understand. Maybe I've always liked that idea, as to why I enjoyed Data from Star Trek a lot, and now Legion as well. Plus, his way of greeting me always amuses me.

As much as I like Garrus I want them to show me Talis face, it bugs me so much! Also Miranda would be nice to have back, having her and Ash fight over Shepard would be rather entertaining.

I liked everyone in the party for Mass Effect 2, so it is a little difficult to choose, but if I have to I would choose Garrus. I would pick Garrus because he seems like he is my shepard's best friend and is just a great all around character. However, I would at least like all of them to at least make multiple appearances in Mass Effect 3.

Hopefully in Mass Effect 3 we can have an Elcor in our party, just because it would be hilarious.
