Dear escapist's i was thinking about all the ways us puny humans can die when i came up with the idea for this thread.So out the choices given to you which would you pick and why.Discuss and enjoy.

A lethal bullet wound in my abdomen? Uargh, that would suck.
But a head shot would be okay, I'd be dead before my brain even realizes the sensory input coming from the pain receptors of my skin, skull and meninges.

Hanging could produce the euphoria assoicated with oxygen deprevation I guess... or break your neck in the process. I'll be a wuss and say niether, because they all sound horrible.

Is it possible to drown and burn at the same time?
With the choices, i would choose hanging, with gun shot they can miss and you can lie in agony for hours or days, but eith hanging, either way its over in one minute.

define 'better'. burning would be the most painful, closely followed by electric shock, gunshot could be the most graphic and gory, hanging is more of a suicide thing and drowning is probably worse (to experience) so it depends. all together would be major overkill
Gun shot to the head. All the others are extremely painful and definitely not fast. For instance, after being beheaded, it can take up to twelve seconds for the head to die (which was proven during the Terror period of the French Revolution, so they would know), burning..... ugh, drowning is definitely NOT a pleasant experience (I wouldn't say I almost drowned, but let's just say I have a better idea of how it would feel than most), hanging might be quick if you break your neck, but even then I believe the head would STILL survive for a few seconds (since it's effectively a "non-invasive" beheading), aaand if there's more I can't recall 'cause I voted already and apparently I can't pull the options back up. However, a headshot is quick, and if you do it right, I don't believe you'll feel all that much. (Depending on the bullet as well, of course. A 9mm slug will bore a tunnel through the brain, a .50AE would probably cause so much trauma that the brain would be disintegrated, .30 FMJ rifle rounds blow the back of your head off so that's also pretty much disintegration, .50BMG..... would probably disintegrate the brain, the skull and the innocence/sanity of those around you. ker-SPLAT.)
Hanging. If done correctly it will break your neck and even though you might still be alive while technically suffocating due to your lungs not working and heart stopping, the nerves in the spine will also have lost their connection (only way to die from a broken neck besides rupturing blood vessels and air pipes) you will not feel any pain other than perhaps a stretching in the neck and something uncomfortable around your neck.

I dunno, seems appropriate in a thread about the philosophy of dying.
