In light of the subject being risen once more, does anyone else here intend to purchase Yahtzee's novel for Darkhouse publications? I believe he said it was a fictional story regarding an MMO world which abided by all the cliches of the genre as a real world setting.

I'm already waiting on August 2010 to see if he can use commas properly, who else?

I have this feeling it'll be a lot like The Order Of The Stick, which is hilarious, so I'll certainly buy it!

Yar.
I (along with almost everyone else) enjoy his humor, so this should be interesting.

Didn't know he had one but I'm not a massive reader. I don't think I'll even have the money to spare due to that forever accursed problem known only as heroin addiction.

Most certainly. It looks like Pratchett is a big influence on the book as far too, and that's no bad thing either...

I like Yahtzee's style of humour and the premise sounds interesting, so in all probability I will pick up a copy at some point. When though, I can't say, as the list of films/books/games etc I have that I want to buy at some point seems to just steadily keep growing in length.

Same here. Even when I read Extra Punctuation, I read it in Yahtzee's voice. It would sound right otherwise.

EDIT: I am well aware that Yahtzee has an English accent and not an Australian accent. I was going for the same general idea as the guy I quoted. That and I said "in Yahtzee's voice". So please stop informing me of this before I go nuts.

[small]again, no disrespect intended towards anyone[/small]

You know his accent isn't Australian, right? Speaking as an Aussie, here. It's an English accent. It may be Aussiefied a bit from his time living here, but only a Brit could tell you that.

Edit: I fully intend to buy it. :D

I haven't read a fictional book for quite awhile, and this is about something I'm interested in and should be quite funny.

I'll most likely get it, unless everyone says it's pants before I get a chance to pick it up.
