Personally I think this will mostly be a fight over Andrew Jackson and Teddy Roosevelt, But hey, the entire field of all... 49? US presidents is out there. JFK could also be in the running as well as Abe Lincoln. I Apologize for not being able to put down all of them in the poll but as you may know I am restricted to eight options. the seven that are specified are in my opinion the most badass. Also if you could actually provide a reason for your decision and not just vote that would be great. So now, provided you took the time to read this whole thing, you may begin the debate.

I think Grant vs Jackson would be the only real battle. Perhaps Teddy R tossed in the mix would create a bit of a Royal Rumble.

Early Presidents weren't necessarily "soldiers", despite their Revolutionary War ties (even Washington had a lot of trial and error situations, especially during the war in 1776 when he was still unsure of his own judgement).

But Jackson and Grant could certainly throw down against each other. Unless Grant was drunk...

And TR was just crazy. For some reason I picture him charging into the fight on a donkey that's towing a lot of caged animals for him to "hunt"...

Ulysses S. Grant

badass drunk. The main reason he won the war from what I've learned was because he was so drunk and pathetic that he had nothing to lose and made risky decisions. Sounds like a lot of people today. Truly an American hero.

Bill Clinton. By being the only president to wield the line-item veto, he was the most politically powerful of the Presidents, and he took everything the "Contract with America" people could throw at him and THEY were the ones who took a beating for it.

definitely teddy roosevelt, but there are a few honorable mentions. Abraham Lincoln was a monstrously tall and strong man. He was like one of those Abobo guys in Double Dragon, except skinny. No kidding. He also was a fighter. Abraham Lincoln = Andre the Giant, pretty badass.

and Andrew Jackson beat the crap out of his attempted assassin in the street with his cane. Had to be restrained. Thomas Jefferson once held off 10,000 mexicans in the battle of Texas.

I might have 300'd up the details a little, but it's all basically true.

Teddy Roosevelt got shot in the chest while making a speech and then continued to do the speech until it was over. He gave a speech over an hour long if I recall correctly while bleeding through his shirt.

Decided to see what old wikipedia had to say and the speech was 90 minutes long according to it. Also when Teddy died. The U.S. Vice-President at that time, Thomas R. Marshall, said that "Death had to take Roosevelt sleeping, for if he had been awake, there would have been a fight."

Andrew Jackson was an ASSHOLE...but he was awesome too. He was the first President who someone tried to assassinate but the attempt failed when both derringers the assailant was wielding jammed. Jackson beat the FUCK out of him with his hickory walking stick.

Then again, Teddy Roosevelt used to wrestle bears. He also went on multiple successful Water Buffalo hunts (water buffalo being psychotic. They will HUNT YOU DOWN if you shoot one and it survives.) There was also the fact that he was shot during a speech. The Simpson's over-dramatized the thing but honestly, I can see that kinda thing happen, Roosevelt killing a dude by throwing the bullet from his gaping chest-wound at his attacker.

JFK gets an honorable mention of course, for nailing Marilyn Monroe.

I'm going to go out on a limb with my choice. Grover Cleavland.

He had the stones to turn people away and basically say the government isn't here to give you handouts of money, it doesn't matter what your problems are, look to your fellow man, not the government.

In the situation I'm thinking of there, after a tragedy of bad weather, a group farmers' crops were ruined. They came to the government asking for ten thousand dollars. Good old Grover had them get handouts from their fellow man. Those farmers ended up raising over one hundred thousand dollars from donations from everyday people.

He's one of the only Democrats in history that I have respect for. He knew the US government's place in the country, making and upholding laws, and national defense. Not holding people by the hand and giving them everything they ask for.

I think it would have to be a battle between Teddy and Andrew. Grant when he wasn't on the battlefield was a nervous wreck. You could throw a raw steak at him and reduce him to hysterics. Now, if you put the three of the on a battlefield, that would be a fight I would want to see.

I'm giving a tip of the hat to FDR, he was an interesting person to learn about and the way he dealt with Pearl Harbor was much better than how recent presidents have been doing things. At least when he sent us to war our economy got better, not worse.

I gotta go with Teddy here. He was the original Rough Rider, hunted bears, even showed the whole world America's Balls with the Great White Fleet, and he also completed a whole speech right after being shot with the bullet still in his chest.

HA!
This poll is a sham! None of these people are American Presidents, because they are all currently unemployed/dead.
