The question is obvious, out of MMOs who do you think is the rightful king/best mmo out of them. By best i mean most fun/replayable/right amount of difficulty/etc.

Is this even a question? I hate it and have moved on from it a while ago but still can't deny WoW its throne.

I'd say WoW. But then I would wouldn't I? Not just because I play it. Rather because I'm one of those weird people who just enjoys a game or doesn't.

The answer is as obvious as the question OP - World of Warcraft...

WOW, although I think one of the first big MMO's was Everquest (incidentally, does anyone play EQ2 anymore?)

hmm, although i think world of warcraft is the most popular, and thus king, i really don't like it.

I'd say City of Heroes/Villains, because it's the one neutral MMO.. It's not trying to be the "WoW-Killer", and it has a very good gameplay formula.

Regardless of which one is actually "better", the poll will show WoW because they have a larger player base, which means there are more likely to be more WoW players on the Escapist who will vote for it.

It's all based on opinions and skill if you're bringing difficulty into it.

EDIT: I voted Guild Wars

By numbers, WoW, undoubtedly. You just can't argue that.

However, judging by quality of the game, Guild Wars tops them all.

Anyone who does not say World of Warcraft is riding on the "Dood, the game is so addicting that you can't haz social liefz!!!11one" bandwagon.
Actually, my thoughts are more like "The game is dull, tedious, grind-heavy and repetitive. Also it does nothing new or innovative. And the community is, to say the least, unpleasant. I don't find it addicting at all."
