So I've been watching some older horror movies and I got to thinking which bad guy do I like the most. And now I'm curious to see who is your favorite and why?

Mine is Candyman because Tony Todd is a creepy bastard and he can send the bees after you! D: Then kill the crap out of you with his hook hand.

I gotta go with Pinhead:

Not just because he's a bondage-themed demon living inside of a puzzle box, granting all of the joys of the flesh but also because of his cameos in various Cradle of Filth albums. That man has a great freaking voice (in general: he doesn't sing)

I can't believe I forgot him. So now mine is a tie between him and Candyman.

I do have a place for Jigsaw, he's a kinda tragic character, and he's obviously wrong in the head, but there is a kinda twisted logic to his plans to make people appreciate their lives.

Especially (mild spoilers for the sequels) when you see what happens when it's not him crafting the traps.

I have to give credit to Tony Todd tho, Candyman is creepy as hell, and he does a fine job in the Final Destination movies too, despite only having a small part.

EDIT: Nearly forgot, I still don't even know who it is, but my theory is it's a Government experiment, in charge of running the 'Cube', as well as feeding it subjects to test. Not sure whether you'd classify the actual 'Cube' as the bad guy, or the mysterious person or people running it...if there is anyone.

The Cube is nuts. If there is anybody running it they are douches.

I gotta find the original and watch that again. It has been too long and I have to get the memories of Cube 2 and Cube 0 out of my head.

I'd suggest no more nuts than most of the poll choices, I'm sure they're at least doing it to try to learn something :)

I actually thought Zero was pretty good, with the whole showing of the people who work in the Cube, pretty much just accepting each murder as another file to deal with, yet it doesn't destroy all the built up mysteries of the Cube. It's not perfect, but at least it's not a disaster on the scale of Cube 2...

I'll give you Cube 0 did have a good ending and was much better than 2. Unfortunately the only one I have is 2...

Freddy. Definately Freddy. The guy fucks you up in your dreams, and cracks jokes the whole way through. You may end up in several pieces, but you'll die laughing.

The answer is, of course, Pinhead.
I am fighting the urge to make a terrible joke about the Puppet Master franchise here.

Close second would be a tie between Candyman and Mr. Voorhees.

There are a lot of them.
Freddy is always fun, I also like Arnold in the first Terminator (it's a sci-fislasher, watch it with that mindset and you'll see what I mean).
My favourite at the moment is Brad Dourif's character from "Death Machine". Pure entertainment.

Jerry Dandrige, from the original Fright Night. Not only is he one of the best horror villains ever, he's next to Dracula and Carmella as one of the most frightening and memorable vampires ever put on the big screen.

The Tall Man is supremely creepy, but I have to go for Michael Myers. Despite how hard Rob Zombie clearly tried to ruin the character I still just find him awesome.

I've gotta see Phantasm at some point.
Along with so man other movies....

OT: I haven't seen any of those, so I'm gonna go with the Xenomorph Queen from Aliens.
She's just such a complete *****...
