Poll: Who would win in a fight Kratos or Link.

My friend and I have had this debate for a long time on who we thought would win in a fight Kratos or Link.

I personally say Link because he has the master sword, the gods are on his side and he can travel through time and turn into a wolf.

Pretty obviously Kratos.

The gods are on Link's side... but Kratos murders gods as a hobby. I feel safe in saying that Link would die horribly.

Kratos, the sight on all of the peoples faces as kratos rips out his Links ribs and uses them to gouge out Links eyes would be highly ammusing.

You do realise Kratos is a god and has god killer as a job desciption.

Kratos uses he chained sword to slide off links head and moves on with killing everything else that stands in his way.

The first time anyway, kratos would have to crawl out of hades, face a bunch of boss monsters, collect some power ups and find his way through puzzle island to get back and actually beat link in a 1 vs 1 fight.

Hell I'd say he pretty much can kill any videogame character.

5 reasons link would win

1. lock on button, just lock on to kratos and shoot arows until kratos looks like a hedgehog.
2. master sword, kills all things evil and im pretty sure kratos is evil.
3. song power, if link is in a bind he just has to call epona or warp back in time to before he fought kratos and bring a bunch of fairies with him.
4. if this was majoras mask they were fighting in, link just has to put on the Fierce Deity Mask and just kill kratos by looking at him.
5. the bag on links back that somehow allows him access to a large variety of weapons. if kratos tries to shoot link with arrows, then link just needs to block with his shield and then shoot back at him. if kratos tries to blind link with helios's head, then link just needs to use his reflector shield. if kratos just tries to hit link with his swords and various other chained weapons, then link just needs to throw a deku nut in kratos's face, go behind him, and stab him.

thus, link would beat kratos

In a caged 1v1 no gimmick single weapon Duel: Why the hell would link ever participate in that?

In a battle of tactics using a variety of fairies, Chateau Romani for infinite Mana, explosives, support arrows (Ice arrow CC spam! Light arrow dark alignment bane!(likely also stun)), Immunity to damage (Nayru's Love), Ether, Bombos, Quake Medallions, Farore's Wind if a tactical retreat is needed, Cloak for invisibility, Dash shoes to out range and use the bow some more.

Giant's Mask to be a temporary God of War boss, Fierce Deity to become a God himself, Zora for immune to damage shield that stuns.

Seriously how much do I need to list?

If you go by "What the character has done" Link is far more experienced, He's an IDEA, a heroic mantle that transcends time and blesses descendants with the courage to overcome anything.
Even if Kratos won, he would be back in a hundred, maybe thousand years.

Everyone likes link, he has the world on his side.
Kratos is an angry unlikeable murderer? God or no.

Edit: There is a lot of "Kratos is big and strong and kills gods!"

Link doesn't? He fights dragons 100 times his size atleast 5 times a games, he has players doing this on speed runs with 3 hearts.

Majora's Mask had the power to will the moon to it's cause.
A rampant evil destruction that plagued a world.
Link was there. Not only stopping that god but also solving every single persons problems one by one, confused, lost, reason to be angry.
Link did not succumb to rage he was brave and stood for his beliefs, Kratos does not have sound enough mind to compete with a Hero like that, just enough to mindlessly kill his mistakes.
