Most Elder Scroll junkies are already aware that Dawnguard has been announced and a trailer has (finally) been released with images of the Dawnguard storyline. Will you be purchasing Dawnguard?

No, I don.

I'm going to wait until it's released and I know more about it before I make a firm decision, but I still haven't finished Skyrim yet and at the moment it's cycled out of my sphere of interest.

Unless I see Dawnguard in a reasonable Summer or Christmas sale (which in turn will re-ignite my interest in the game), I'm happy to stay on the don's side of the fence as I have plenty of other, less Marmite games to play.

Yes, of course. More Skyrim? Hell yeah.

Though not decided what 'side' I'll be. I have three characters so I'll try all possible outcomes.

Alas, while I do love Skyrim and still mod/play it now, I don't buy DLC so no I won't be getting it.

I will wait for user reviews first. Skyrim was a massive disappointment to me in terms of progression sense and plot narrative.

I have logged more than 200 hours on Skyrim and the trailer looks absolutely fabulous, of course I'll be getting it.
Even more so because Bethesda aren't bombarding us with shitty DLC packs but instead waited a long time to make a (presumably) big DLC of great quality. Respect for that.

Ah and I'll join the Dawnguard with my main character.

Yes and I will join the dawnguard. Upgrade from Regular bows to Crossbows? Hells yes.

Im going to make a new character for dawnguard, the problem with my old one is he's king of everything and its just gotten too ridiculous.

Yep, Vampire Lords are definitely something I want to try. Blue-Fire-Undead-Horses look awesome as well.

I might've done when Skyrim was still relevant to me half a year back. Now I don't really care. Might pick it up when it's on sale some day.

It will be more than a DLC. It will be a proper expansion.
And not one of those:
lol remember that game you paid for?
want the rest of it?
MOAR MONY!

I don't mind DLC that give extra content to a game that was made well in the first place, it's this plan of "let's just pick some random things to leave out and charge for later" that pisses me off. I'm also slightly worried about the fact that at e3, games that aren't coming out for 6 months or even a year are announcing DLC.

Good.

God.

NOT ME! Not because I don't want more Morrowind-like expansion packs, but because Microsoft has that stupid stranglehold on Bethesda DLC. So I have to wait longer because I choose not to use MS's console. Bah.

Probably not, as my game recently glitched and now my favorite character's save file is royally screwed. If I touch water, the game freezes. This makes traversing large swaths of the map a real pain, and certain trap doors in dungeons can cause a console restart now.

I suppose this might be fixed in an upcoming patch, but if not, no Dawnguard for me.

I will try and pre-purchase it if at all possible.

I would hold back but Skyrim has literally been the only game I've been interested in this past year. Same as last year I bought all the DLCs for New Vegas as soon as they were released.

Just like those as well, it looks like it'll be a substantial amount of added content with a lovely new plot that I'm drooling over currently.

Single greatest problem with Elder Scrolls games - at some point, you turn into a god.
