So I get why people hate the Xbox One after the disaster that was the reveal yesterday, with its online requirements and used games policy and everything. I also understand why people don't like the Wii U. After all, nobody really knows how to develop games for it, and there is no real reason to buy a system with no games on it. But there is one thing I don't understand: Why do people hate the PlayStation 4?
I saw the Sony press conference back when they showed of the PS4 and I honestly thought it looked good. They showed off a lot of different games, and features of the system. I'm looking forward to the new inFAMOUS game, and WATCH_DOGS. I also think The Witness and Knack and DriveClub looks interesting. Being able to watch your friends play, and join in and play with them at any point sounds like an interesting idea. I don?t know how much I?m actually going to use it, though. It also appears to have a build in capture card, and I hope I can hook it up to a computer, so I can upload videos on YouTube.
It had some bad moments though, like that Wii-Music-With-Move-Controllers-Game, (Seriously, WTF guys?) and a lot of clearly pre-rendered footage, and a lot of the online stuff just seemed redundant to me. Also, no backwards compatibility is kind of a bummer.
But hey, at least the online features are not mandatory. They also said that the system will be really easy to develop for so that solves the problem the Wii U had. Overall, Sony does exactly what both Nintendo and Microsoft should have done, so why do some people still think the PlayStation 4 is bad?
