Poll: Will you be Purchasing Mass Effect 2 for PS3?

So, will any of you be buying Mass Effect 2 when it is released on PS3 next year? I am personally if it wasn't for the special make ME1 choices thing at the beginning though I probably wouldn't since I haven't played the 1st one,so what are your opinions on this?

P.S. No spoilers, for ME1.... maybe
for ME2 no.

Well, that's because I don't own a PS3, but I really don't think that many people will buy it, unless they're a die-hard fan for DLC, or just didn't buy an Xbox or have a PC for the game.

I might be looking into it. If it's any good on PS3 I'll get it. I dunno, I didn't really like Dragon Age, but I loved Neverwinter Nights and Knights of the Old Republic, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

Well, I'll need more info on the matter to be honest; whether it's okay to play without doing the first, or having a reasonable way of making character decisions you wouldn't be able to do otherwise and whatnot.

I do want to play it a lot though.

Why would I? It is probably going to be chosen as GOTY and then I can pick it up for the computer with all the DLC and import my ME1 character from there.

Because some of us prefer our PS3 to our gaming PC. What a silly question.

I won't be getting it but my friend will. He was going to get a 360 solely for ME2 but now he has no reason to. Character decisions won't be that much of an issue since Bioware's including that motion comic to get people up to speed and help them make decisions for ME1.

I am a PC gamer but own a ps3 for the exclusives and community stuff. at the end of the day I find that it was worth it.

that's the thing, one of the features the PS3 version has is that you can make all of the Mass Effect 1 decisions without actually owning it(as a sort of 'sorry this game took an extra year and that you missed out on ME1' apology) italso comes with all the DLC for free

No kidding it's just flaming, if you don't have anything good to say about the PS3 or don't plan on even mentioning the game then just.....don't talk.

What it is, is that people on PS3 may not have been able to own it on PC so it is seemingly fair that they have a GOTY edition, with the choices (because ME1 is a Microsoft Studios game), so it makes perfect sense that's how it works.






Now on topic......I have a 360, I have Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, will I still get it for my PS3 of course, because I'm a die hard Mass Effect fan especially with my Commander Shepard hoodie and Cerberus tshirt.

PS3 guys... do yourselves a favour and buy this game. It is absolutely amazing and I know most of you will love it as much as we 360 owners do.
