Poll: Wolfenstein gatling gun

I'm half way through the new Wolfenstein game, and everything I see in game and in the manual indicates that the gatling gun won't be an option in this sequal. This disappoints me, since it was such a distinctive feature in Wolf 3D and Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Does anyone know if it makes a surprise appearance near the end? If it does, that would encourage me to finish the game. What are your favourite games with gatling guns? For my money, no game yet has properly featured a minigun with it's true rate of fire = 33 or 66 bullets per second! With modern hardware, framerates shouldn't be an issue, what do you think?

u missed out team fortress to its called sasha
i think its the best mini gun it costs $40,000 to fire it for 12 seconds
but ot: i think the best would have to be in fallout 3 sorri but the weapon degrading things cool cause its not indestructable but its awesome

Doom's was good but I prefer the Heavy's minigun from TF2.

It has a higher rate of fire and the sound it makes is awesome.

Fallout 2 had the Vindicator Minigun which would kill anything and everything. I liked serious sam's better it was just so simple.

I forgot about the minigun in crysis, probably because you can only use it effectively when using suit strength, isn't very accurate, has a long spin-up time, doesn't have a good rate of fire, and you have to sacrifice a better weapon in order to use it.

I like fallout 3's minigun. it makes mince out of super mutants.

Serious Sam's minigun is one of the most overpowered weapons in gaming history, EVERY weapon in the list doesn't match the pinpoint accurate devastation that the Vulcan provides.
