Doesn't look like it'll be very interesting.

I mean, driving a tank is cool and all, but if you're in an MMO and all you do is drive a tank around, I think it'd get really boring really soon.

Guess this "mmo" word is just some marketing bullshit. I've checked a couple of youtube gameplay videos and WoT looks more like an online shooter.

'Massively Multiplayer Online'. Seems to fit the game pretty well, so no marketing hype there... Well, except "massively" but it's only in closed beta, so it can be excused that

What a confusing name. In an MMO a tank is a guy with a shield (usually) who gets hit by the boss while everyone else does the damage. A whole world with nothing but that does not seem exciting.

However the tracked vehicles with big guns on sort of tank is more interesting

I received my invite code a couple of days ago - it took them almost a week to check my application form and let me in, lol. The game is extremely funny and addictive though not really well-balanced. Arty is too overpowered - it usually takes them one shot to knock out Tier 1 or 2 light tanks.
