With just a while since the release of WoW: WotLK it should have given you a while to play the new death knight class and check it out, hmm?

So what do you think of them? Stupid idea, reasonable idea, or just plain overpowered?

Started playing WoW again myself 2 days ago and rolled a new Death knight.

Leveling is is patheticaly easy compared to my druid/priest/warrior/hunter/shaman, seeing how they start off in gear thats a hell of a lot better than what an 'average' level 58 going into outlands would have.

Another pointer to them being just a tiny bit overpowered, was doing a blood furnace run last night, 5 Death knights ( 3 unholy, 2 frost, all betweer level 60 and 62 ), no healing and still managing to basicly walk through the whole instance in a little over 15 mins by chain pulling our way through. Not bad work considering it was a random group found in zone chat.

Of course Death Knights are overpowered, they should be. You have to get to lvl 55 just to play one.

You are slightly correct, I mean you have to put in the effort to get to Level 55 then play, currently the most fun and enjoyable zone according to G4TV and myself, thru the quest to get outside. Now however this doesn't mean that Deathknights should be completely overpowered. They have their ups and downs, like only 2 long-range spells and rely only on runes to deal damage. This makes it so say a Mage has a decent chance of killing a DK, Deathknight for short, if he can't close the gap. But other than that most people find the DK to be an enjoyable bit of WoW that can't be replaced.

They also nerfed Outland something fierce, mind you :p

DKs are pretty OP until they start hitting Northrend, where they fall into line with the other classes. I love the feel of the class... even if I am mainly playing my Druid.

My girlfriend won't let me have a deathknight ._. whenever I get to 55. Then again she doesn't like that I play a rogue either.. who cares! DK's FTW!!

My cousin has a DK, and from what he's been telling me they really are overpowered. I know its the first hero class and all, but it just ruins game balance if one class can fubar most others.

That's the thing. They can't :p

*Every* class has some OP stuff now. It's the Marvel vs Capcom 2 school of balance.

As much fun as they are, i'm interested as to what will become of 'Hero' classes. What does the term 'Hero' refer to? Does it mean that they're better than other classes? I need some context people!

from what ive heard theyre called hero classes cos they are litterally 'heros' in the rp role of things. so yeah, they probably are meant to be better then other classes... but i dont know, i dont work for blizzard.

I get the feeling it's going to be the ONLY 'Hero' class.
The starting quests were great fun but after I hit about 60 with it; I Went back to my Troll Shaman.
