Would people miss you if you died? Simple as that.

I don't think that people would miss me if I were gone, simply because I haven't been here long enough.

I'd probably be missed, yes, but while most would get over it quite quickly, I think only two people would be bothered about it in the years that follow (my ex-girlfriend, for a plethora of reasons, and my old man, since I provide him with most of his intellectual challenge these days).

I agree entirely.
Also, for reasons I've never entirely understood, most people I know actually seem to like me, and put effort into keeping in touch. I figure if they'll miss me after 2 weeks of not being in the same place, they'll miss me in other circumstances too.

I would be deeply missed by more than 0 persons for sure. More than 10? Don't think so, more than 5? Maybe, not sure.
