Poll: Would You Become a Ghost?

So heres the deal, you die and are given the option to either become a ghost or "move on" bearing in mind you have no idea what "moving on" would involve. If you become a ghost you will be restricted to the place you would have called "home" whilst alive, unless you put your mind to it, in which case you could float around the local town but thats it! You cant talk to people or move anything but if someone you were close to dies and becomes a ghost you'd be able to interact with them (assuming they can get close enough). Finally, you cant stop being a ghost until your home and town is completely destroyed, which in some cases could be several thousand years, after which you "move on".

so those are your choices, what do you do? personally, i'd be terrified of the eternal nothingness that most depressing athiest seem to forsee so i'd probably stick around, besides, i wouldnt want to miss the next who knows how many thousands of years worth of technology and developement!

edit: sorry, seems to be a bit of confusion here, you cant haunt people or anything, i suppose the most you could do is give someone a shiver by walking through them or maybe send messages to a perticularly good psycic

With those extreme limitations, I'd rather move on. I'd hate to be so restricted for an uncertain amount of decades, or centuries.

Oh, this is really hard on one hand I get to winess the advancement of the people I know in the future. On the other, I must go through life seeing miserable things and having to live through all of it.

Either way, I would take Reaping like Dead Like Me over either of those, and I would take moving on over being a ghost that can't do shit.
