I am considering making a series of "Would you rather..." post. If they get a good response I will continue, if not I will stop. Here is my first, which would you rather be born without, ankles or wrists?

Ankles, most of my uses for them could be replaced with fake ones. (Springs and such)

I would prefer to be born without ankles, simply because it is easier to make synthetic feet so you can walk rather than attach various wires to the nerves in my arms so I can bend my fake fingers.

Well if you are able to get fake ones then this question has no meaning. I am saying that you would have solid flesh and no joint where it normaly would be.

Wrists, I like being able to walk. Lots. Exersize is also good!

And to be fair, if we didnt have one or the other and it became a major problem, no doubt someone would come up with a solution...

Motorized wheelchairs are readily available, and most of the important things I do, I do with my hands.

Agreed. I can live without walking, but I can't live without the hundreds of tasks I use my hands for.

That is a brilliant answer! I would applaud, but my lack of wrists is preventing me from clapping... That's impractical.

I'll go for losing wrists - less relevant during skiing (or walking, come to think of it), and not that much of an issue for gaming purposes. Typing/writing would take a lot longer though...
