Poll: Yahtzee Donation Drive - Yay or Nay?

So, this donation drive to generate $20,000 dollars to bring Yahtzee to PAX to meet fans has been generating a lot of talk on the Escapist, but the most opinionated are often the loudest and rarely the majority, so it's hard to tell what the general point of view is. What are your thoughts on the whole thing?

It's a nice idea. However, I'm not going to PAX and the good rewards are too expensive for me, so I will not be donating.

i was against it at first because of the topic title and poor wording made it sound... well, it's in the past. after they fixed the title and reworded the thing to be more appropriate and honest; it's simply not applicable to me. so i have no feelings about it one way or the other. i do hope that if the requirements are met, that the fans have a good time though.

I personally am not thrilled about the idea. This event caters to a very small group (only those going to PAX). Seeing as I don't live in the states I have no way of going to meet Yahtzee. However, if they had some sort of benefit for those who are not going to pax to donate then I would gladly throw them a bone. But I mean I have to make a minimum donation of 50 dollars in order to have an unsigned poster shipped to me. To me I think they botched it up, there is little benefit to most escapists and unless your going to be at PAX there is nothing in it for you to support this cause.

Why does it take $20000 to get one guy on a plane? Does he demand a private jet? Or is it just to bribe him to show up?
Even if I went there, I wouldn't care.
