Poll: You and your self-esteem.

I have friends that don't even dare to shop for stuff on their own, while other have to be prevented to run around naked while screaming out their favorite pie Anyways...

Self-esteem is something I certainly have, but luckily not to much. I never freak out if some stranger suddenly speaks to me, plus I even like a good talk.

So tell me, how much self-esteem do you have?

My self esteem is ok. Mostly because I rarelly give a fuck about what people think of me.

And the fact that I'm a trained martial artist helps too.

I don't like to go to town on my own... too paranoid...
a few trips ago, the guy I went with got pick-pocketed. see, my reason for being paranoid.
I tend to keep to myself, and prefer to not speak to strangers.

It's not that good to be honest :/
Online I'm fine, I can talk to almost anyone but IRL I find it hard to talk to people I barely know.
On the other hand, if I'm with a few friends I can garruntee I will be one of the loudest there. xD I just need a wingman or something to help me.

I don't like talking to strangers but i'll do it if need be. As a musician I kind of had to get over being shy in public. Singing solo on a stage in front of 500 people demands self-esteem, it'd be impossible otherwise. As for being on my own, I'm fine with that too. I've been to the cinema by myself, I don't get why people think that's such a big deal though.

Although I have self-esteem which is probably narcissistic in nature, I'm still a reasonably humble guy. I don't have to say I'm the best, I know I'm the best...

Not sure what I'm best at yet, but I'm working on it...

It's not good, I tend to be really shy and I never talk much. Also when I started College, it took me over a month before I finally found the courage to start talking to people. But I'm still really shy.

I dont get, people with low self esteem. most of the time, it is their fault they have it because they are either A) attention seekiers who actually have good self esteem (40%)

or B)they are ashamed or embarassed about what they do or who they are, how you occupy yourself or how you feel about your self, shouldnt reflect on who you are. your a bud of greatness,

I put meh cuz it's my current position..., but my "Self-esteem" has never been reliably measurable it can go from essencially considering myself to gods gift to humanity to feeling like i'm a steaming pile of shit in the space of a conversation and back up almost immediately... generally i don't let much of the stuff inside me show on the surface giving me a sorta half frown almost permanently... but hey when I smile i smile... when i don't tread carefully, and I'll probly be smiling again in like 5 mins.

Used to be less, more now, but still quite low. It's not that I'm really shy or anything, it's just that quite often I see myself as a failure. It doesn't help if people keep repeating your failures to you over and over again. They prove I'm a failed person, seeing as I've never accomplished something, and the people around me (read: family) apparently like to remind me of that quite often.
