Poll: Your Favorite Borderlands Class

My favorite class in Borderlands is the hunter, Mordecai (or Talon as he is known in my game.) His lines are really funny and the Bloodwing is useful when you're in a bad spot. And plus, he reminds me of the Sniper from TF2. Seriously. Just give him the outfit and the hat and you've pretty much got TF2's sniper.

What's your favorite classes and why?

On a more serious note, it was the Hunter for me. Being able to sit back and kill everything from a distance is generally my style.

Berserker's crazy! I had a Berserker character and I pretty much just charged into everything. It was fun!

Siren is the most practical with her "Get out of jail free" card ability, but the game is mainly about awesome guns, and all of the soldier's abilities compliment awesome guns, so that's my favorite.

Very true. I've never played as a Solider, but a class that mainly buffs weapons in a game about weapons is always good!

Portal taught us that turrets are epic. Borderlands was obviously paying attention.

the ammo and health regeneration makes it so easy

Definitely the Soldier for me. Just plop that turret down and run in circles around it while it heals you and you basically win at everything forever. It's like if Charlie Sheen was distilled into a digital format and then consumed by a sentient, mutant-hating, bullet-spewing robotic entity.

I am going with Mordecai because the sniping on the game is awesome. Roland the soldier gets the honorable mention because of guns guns guns, and he has a class mod that regenerates ammo.

Siren.

She has the coolest abilities and I loved that you can become invisible and get the hell out of there if things get too hectic. Best part is you can leave destruction in your wake if you use the leveling up tree right when you become invisible, made my life a lot easier in the Zombie Island DLC.

The siren, mostly because I never understood why the other character's powers would be half as good as the siren's. While the soldier's turret is nice, the barrier of said turret is pointless since in-game cover is, in a word, broken unless you're hiding behind a wall. As for the berserker, why would I want to dive into combat with my fists when my enemies have guns? The hunter's ability seems interesting, but a good 1/3 of the game you're in areas that don't have lots of room to navigate in, and I'm going to assume that flying AI isn't going to be helpful in barricaded/caged areas.

EDIT: Also, I forgot to add that the Siren probably has the best skill tree out of them all considering that she can increase gun accuracy, velocity, firing rate, and damage, making any weapon choice a viable one with the specific class.

Soldier by far. I did love the Hunter, but a shotgun I found changed that. With a class mod I can regen ammo, shoot faster, more accurately, and do more damage. It's ridiculous.

Sniping was pretty terrible in that game. Not saying I didn't do it my first character was a sniping mordecai, but the fact that even a single hit makes your character have epileptic fits and sniping without getting critical shots is pointless, it can be a lil frustrating to have a sniper as your main weapon.

Not to mention I kept getting awesome snipers with accuracy just a lil too low 95.5%ish so that they weren't actually usable. :/

Siren is the most fun at max lvl in my opinion.
