Poll: Your Favourite Warhammer Race 40k?

I'm kind of sick of the human races. I was just wondering about your opinions thats all.
I have to choose between the Tau Empire and the Tyranids

Tau Empire-Blue Japanese-like Technologically advanced space communists. Ultra Win
Tyranids-Sucks to the space marines and their armour. Swarming is so much fun

Whether you play tabletop or Dawn of War (1/2), what do you guys think?

I understand poll restrictions but having Space Marines and Chaos in the same category just looks funny.

At first I thought the Blood Ravens were boring and over-used in the DoW game, but ever since II started going deeper into their story I've grown to like them a lot more.

As for my favourite; Imperial Guard.
They always seem to have the most character in the DoW games, the coolest tanks and the best uniforms.

I'm also a fan of the various branches of the Inquisition (I really hope DoW III features the Daemonhunters as a faction), Chaos, Eldar and Orks.

Also, I think you should change the title to make it clear that you mean "Warhammer 40,000".

I know of two people here who make it quite clear that they like the Sisters of Battle and Orks. They know who they are . I mainly like the Space Marines. Yeah I'm cliche. But the other races really shine too, but that's mainly because I look up 40K humour.

Same here. I hate to say it but it's a pet peeve of mine to say either fantasy or 40,000.

I loved the Tyrannids. The fact that they cause such distortion to the Warp that Astrogation is nigh impossible and it blacks out the "Light of the Emperor" makes everything else seem pale by comparison.

That and I loved tweaking the different types to different playstyles as well.

Grey Knights. Extremely powerful guys and some of the most detailed models in the game.

My favourite Warhammer race is High Elves - love the speed and elite ranged weaponry.

If you mean Warhammer 40k, when I used to paint the models and play the tabletop games I always played as Space Marines/Imperial Guard.

Now, playing Dawn of Wars I and II, I always go for Chaos. They just have the coolest armour and decals!

Oh, and the poll at the top is a bit crap - putting Space Marines and Chaos Marines as one option? Chaos all the way - no bowing to the Emperor for us!
