Alot of people ignore the whole 18+ on the box so i was just wondering when was your 1st rated M game and were you legaly allowed to play it. A bunch of my little brothers friends who r in 6th grade play like GTA so i just wanted to know.
The first one I ever owned was Resident Evil 4. I think of it as my gateway into real gaming. Before then I had only been a casual gamer but I picked up Resident Evil 4 and loved it. Then I went out and bought a 360 so I could play Resident Evil 5 even though it was like a year before it came out. That brought me to games like The Orange Box, Dead Rising, Fallout 3, and Gears of War 2.
Oh I was under 18 and I still am, so I guess it wasn't legal.
The first GTA when I was 5. Or maybe it was 4. I remember playing in the morning during weekends while everybody was sleep with no sound. Then I used to turn it off with Alt+F4 as soon as I heard footsteps or a creaking door. I was a sneaky little child. Ah, good times.
Um, it was the first GTA. I would have been about 6 when it was released, so 6 or 7? That seems so young, but it's not like there was anything that graphic in it. I'm clearly now a violent and misunderstood individual for playing it, though.
First game that I ever played as well as owned is Mortal Kombat 4. And, yeah, I technically wasn't supposed to play it as I wasn't old enough to do so at the time. My parents were the one that ended up buying it for me (along with Goldeneye, both on the N64).
Scratch that. Thinking about it now, the first game I had played had to be the original DOOM, followed by Duke Nukem 3D (introduced by my cousin-in-law and cousin respectively).
