Poll: Zombie Invasion

My friends and I have had several somewhat heated debates about basic zombie tactics. In the case of a zombie invasion would it be better to hide in the basement or the attic? I mean the basement is more easily defensible sure, but most people are going to care more about being able to get the heck out of dodge if something goes wrong and basements have fewer means of egress than an attic.

So what do y'all think? Basement? Attic?

Siberia, not far but does the job. No I don't live in Russia. And I would go there because of it's emptyness and danger for zombies to freeze into sculptures.

Simple, the roof. Sit up there with a couple of rifles and supplies and pick off the zombies one by one.

I wouldn't pick either as an option for any long term zombie problems as being pinned down is bad if they start to group up in your area and food runs low. Of the two I'd pick the attic only because I know the zombies wouldn't be able to easily walk up to it with a ladder,shift the top of it off and then easily climb up. While in the basment they can slowly stumble past any obsticle or come in through basement windows. Plus you could always kick a hole trough your roof or make one as I'd assume you'd have a weapon of some kind.

Pfft I would use my power armor and cut a bloody swath through the undead until the God-Emperor hears my calls and sends the Thunderhawk. If that doesn't work my basement is pretty much a bunker and would take little to fortify.

I figured Brazil because of half the country being Rainforest.
Lots of food, Big Areas, and tons of places for traps/hiding spaces.
I forget which Indian Tribe hid inside of the Florida Everglades while the Government was forcing them off of their land, but they were one of the (If not the only) tribe that managed to stay put.
Thus my reasoning: Woodlands = Good.

Always take the high ground, preferably with windows. Zombies typically can't figure out ladders (if we're talking Las Plagas, well, you're just screwed), stairwells can be blockaded (zombies fall down much better than they fall up), and if all else fails you can jump to the ground. Going underground with one easily-crowded exit is a certain method of suicide.

I would dgo to the factory i work at. Since i'm security out there i've got keys and acces to almost everything on the factory, and i know every single building, theres 40 some i think, pretty well. It has a good fence all teh way around the factory, and lots of alarms and stuff.

Mmmmm I like you logic but I like mine better (not bais eh). I would to go a very big open area with lots of sunlight that way I can watch for zombies and pratice my sniping skills on them (is that really pratice though?)

I would probably kill myself before I let any zombie torutre me and eat my brains. Realistically most people arent going to have a gun handy with unlimited ammo. But then realistically no Zombies are going to appear.

Ya, a desert would be perfect. The sand slows the zombies pretty good too. Also we won't have any of that 3 months of night bullshit.
