It really does just say that it exists and that all the characters don't quite match how they look in the show. Kinda younger... which is really weird, I mean I can't see them being younger than the human equivalent of their late 20s.

Oh well, hope it will be good, but its probably one of the easiest properties to fuck up. I mean its a miracle the show ended up as good as it is.

Huh, I was expecting the pony movie to have an iguana trailer.

On the one hand, it doesn't tell us anything about anything, on the other it doesn't have damned foghorns and increasingly short clips which also don't really tell us anything about anything.

You know that's a teaser trailer right? If you want the whole plot of the film spoil for you, that will be in the next trailer or two.

OT- I'm looking forward to it eventhought it means going to the cinema to watch it is gonna be awkward (what's the odds of a parent and kids watching it on offpeak on weekdays? My usualy cinema watching hours). The ponies having more shading to them will take some getting used to thought.

I'm not watching that in theaters. I'm Swedish, and our theaters don't ever show the original dubs of kids' movies that are actually intended for kids.

I just hope they do the FiM name justice. The show's been hemorrhaging some of their best writers over the past few years, and I'd be lying if I didn't say that I felt season 6 missed the mark on a few occasions.

I love the ponies as much as anyone, they got me through many a college paper, but I haven't touched the cartoon series in years. Very little interest in seeing this in the move theater, unless it has some Toy Story 3 esque plot

Yeah, its not as out there as it used to be but the show is still fantastic. Really the last 2 seasons have been the best so far.
