Portal Kombat!

As you all probably know, tomorrow is the day that Portal 2 and Mortal Kombat are released. Personally, I will be sitting in a dark room with my male friend as I play Portal and he plays MK. My question is will you be picking up any of these games soon or do you have a fear of fun and entertainment?

Had to make a tough call 'cause I'm currently short on funds. Chose Mortal Kombat in order to play with my dorm-mates. Yes, Portal 2 has co-op (which I WILL be getting later, you can count on that), but my floor currently has a craze about fighting games, so getting that game makes it much more likely I will find someone to play with.

Portal 2 I like the MK series but if I was down to 60 dollars and it was a choice between portal and MK I'll go with portal every time.

I have pre-ordered both. I'll start out by playing Mortal Kombat while Portal 2 is downloading/installing, then finish Portal 2, maybe play some co-op if someone asks me to, and then play Mortal Kombat until until my eyes start bleeding liquefied awesomeness.

I liked Portal, but I have my doubts about the sequel holding on to a full price worth campaign. Besides, I know it will be a 90% discount (or such) on Steam soon enough and I can wait... I am a patient man.

But in all seriousness, I'm not buying either one of them. The first Portal wasn't all that great, it was entertaining, but not great, and the Mortal Kombat games have never been my cup of tea.

I remembered that MK came out tomorrow... but somehow it completely slipped my mind that Portal 2 hits tomorrow as well.

I'm getting Mortal Kobmat on wednesday (stupid european release dates). I have a bad feeling that Portal 2 will get boring pretty quickly, because basicly its just Portal 1 with a few tweaks and new additions. Portal 1 was so great because first of all it was innovative and short, it only teased you with the GlaDos delights, but I believe it will loose its special spark if it will be stretched for over 8-10 hours... or at least this is what I believe, I havent played it yet of course, who knows, it might just become as good as the first Portal, or even better if that is even possible

Portal 2, as soon as it gets released in Ireland on Thursday that is (curse you Steam owners!). MK will probably be a purchase during the summer lull once it drops in price.
