we all know the mystery behind it.
Wrong.
Not everybody on the internet will know things that are current and/or popular. I don't blame the OP for just now hearing about the quite spooky tale of the haunted Majora's Mask cartridge. Generalizations make my blood boil.

OT: Please don't be fooled by that story. It's merely a ROM hack that caused the game to be creepy in such a way, and which was followed by the overly-elaborating tale of BEN DROWNED. It's quite an interesting story, but it isn't real. Overall, it does add to the creepiness that Majora's Mask carries with it.
I shall provide the videos for those who are curious as to the story.

Yes the videos are creepy, and yes the story is believable and interesting to read all the way through, but don't take it seriously. It's a ROM hack played on an emulator, nothing more. As Majora's Mask is one of my all-time favorite games, I looked into this story quite extensively. Call me a non-believer of supernatural stuff like this, but I think the creator of the videos merely elaborated on, as stated, a ROM hack made to make the game seem like it was trying to creep the hell out of you.
Very well made, if I do say so myself.
