I got to the final level of the (PC version) psychonauts, and can't get past the rotating fire-grates of eternal exasperation. YAR. For some reason, 99% of the time, Raz won't double-jump. I've never had this problem anywhere else in the game, and usually the controls respond perfectly well. Unfortunately, anywhere else jumping wouldn't be as crucial, but at this stage falling means going back, falling, repeat. I've looked online and it's stated as the most difficult stage of the level (partly because the camera can get a little wonky) and once I managed to double-jump after doing nothing different compared to the other 50 or so times. (not that this kept me from dying, again) has anyone else had this problem? were you able to get past it from sheer dogged persistence, or should I stop trying and just skip off to youtube and watch the final cutscenes? Is there some technique that I'm missing?
