POSSIBLE SPOILERS! Does anyone else think that the Arrow flashbacks are getting a bit out of hand?

AS OF EPISODE 14

I mean, Oliver going to Hong Kong was pretty out there, but him going back to Starling City? Seriously? We already know pretty much how things are going to turn out, so why bother putting so much effort into the five years he was gone? There's no real tension in these stories, and they're getting more and more ludicrous.

I hated the Flashbacks since about middle of the first season. (Where i became apparent that there was mundane shit on the damn island - Mercenaries with a plot)

Just have it be a hellhole with some random insane/weird dudes killing each other in a ongoing battle-royale and be done with it after the end of first season.

Now that you mentioned it, didn't watch Arrow since the end of first season, did it get better?

second season was amazing
the flash backs really tied well into the current plot of the season

Gonna have to disagree on that.

The second season was so god-awful, not even Manu Bennett's amazing turn as Deathstroke could save the series for me.
