Possibly a loop-hole about the rapture?

So, to my understanding today was to be the rapture.

I'm not quite dead, so I'll go ahead and assume that's not going to happen. But as I sieved through the threads, looking at what I could, a little idea occurred to me.
As far as I know, the bible says nobody will ever know the day of doomsday, rapture, apocalypse, whatever. "No man shall know the day." "Beware false prophets." "Not even angels know the day."

Well, imagine we had a Christan, such as the one who predicted today as the rapture. And that this Christan predicted tomorrow to be the rapture, and he believed with all his will and determination that it was going to happen. Say it didn't happen, as many would expect, life goes on, blah blah blah. But say he was right? It was the rapture, he was correct? Well, he couldn't be, could he? it contradicts the whole false prophets thing, and since god is supposed to be infallible, the rapture would not happen on that day.

So, if every day, there was someone who predicted a rapture the next day, with reasoning and belief, it couldn't happen without contradicting the bible. So, if someone predicted a rapture every day, we could all avoid it happening at all, right?

(Though, I myself am an atheist and don't think any rapture will happen ever, I mean no offence to anyone who may have been offended by the denial of a rapture ever happening)

A nice try, but you don't get to be an omniscient being by making little mistakes like that! "No man shall know the day" does not preclude anyone accidentally guessing it. They won't know they're right until it's too late.

Now if only he could sort out the whole pedopriest thing...
