So where do you do most of your gaming, web-browsing and tv/movie-watching? Post pictures and share where you spend 90% of your lives. If you can't post a picture, just describe it. Remember to put all images in spoilers, and try not to upload massive pictures with crazy resolutions.

Feel free to quote people and say what you would improve, add or remove.

So here's my (crappy) setup.

I'm planning on getting a second 1080p monitor and finding somewhere to put my tower so I can have some more room.

I'm going to remove the subwoofer below the TV because the speakers have pretty much died. That chair is comfy as fuck, armchairs are the best for gaming. I really need to clear up my wires, they're terrible.

Xbox is on as I'm downloading a game while I browse the internet. :p

Tower's not in the best spot but it seems to be getting enough air flow to not be a problem, plus the two case fans keep a nice air flow going. Not the tidiest desk in the world but eh, I know where everything is. :p

It is a wee bit messy:
The tower doesn't work as of this moment, but I'll get to that eventually.
As a side note that controller smells wonderful.

If you'll allow one suggestion: Ergotron.

The Ergotron Neo-Flex [http://www.amazon.co.uk/Neo-Flex-Lcd-Arm-45-174-300-01/dp/B000AMJC2K/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1378153764&sr=8-2&keywords=ergotron+neo-flex] is very sturdy, fairly affordable, and adjustments are very, uh, manual I guess is the word. In order to bend the main arm you have to compress a disc at the main joint. But it would get your monitors off your desk, which works wonders, and may even allow room for a third monitor by cantilevering it over the side.

The max weight for a monitor on the Neo-Flex is 18 pounds/8.2 kilos. For example, that would support one of my 23" HDTV/monitors.

There are more expensive models [http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ergotron-Desk-Mount-LCD-Arm/dp/B00358RIRC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1378154214&sr=8-1&keywords=ergotron+lx] which have higher height adjustments, but the Neo-Flex might be what you need. Note: I do not work for Ergotron but I own a Neo-Flex, LX, and a 3M monitor arm (which is really just a rebadged LX).

Elevating monitors on arms requires slightly longer power cords, so I just used some unused power cords from old APC battery backups [http://www.amazon.co.uk/Power-Extension-Cable-Male-Female/dp/B003OSO2Y0/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1378153972&sr=8-13&keywords=apc+power+cord], which I found at work for free. They're like extension cords for your PC. When you get your hands one of these I swear, you'll wonder why they're not sold in stores.

This pic is about 2 weeks old. I've added more toys since then. It really is getting crowded.

I may or may not have cleaned my desk so you can't judge me on how messy I am.

My less-than-tactical mug placement means you can hardly see my Azu-nyan nendoroid. :c

yeah since i moved out of the house im really crappy set up in technology department. but the plan is to buy a PC at new years sales and such.
Though i see a lot o you use these dreadful roll-out keyboard things, god i hate those. they are so unconfortable and you feel like you are pressing buttons on your belly.
Im also jealous of people with more than one monitor now :(

I manage fine, and I'm 6"1 with massive legs; it's actually incredibly comfy. I am planning on getting a TV stand to replace the shelf behind the TV in that picture, so that will give me a little bit more room.

I'm not really arsed what my desk looks like so it's quite bare.

That chair is more comfotable than you might think. People say to me "how can you sit in that chair without a pillow?" The answer is simple, I've got a boney arse. E-Cookies foranyone that can name the books/dvd boxsets on the far right, hidden behind the docking station.

That Dairy Milk cup isn't my favourite tea drinking cup. I am rocking a mini-keyboard. Deal with it. I occasionally make some kind of model with that largish blu tack ball.

That case is too fucking big, it's the length of the desk.

Even though it's not part of the OP's request, I'll include my game shelves, because I keep them nice and organised. My friends don't care, maybe someone will!

What's that big book sitting to the bottom right there?

Also, in your Gamecube collection, do you have these essentials?:

The book is "H.P. Lovecraft: The Complete Fiction." One of those swanky anthology books you get at Barnes and Nobles.

As for the games, I do have Melee, but sadly not Eternal Darkness. I got almost all my Gamecube games back in middle school, and I wasn't in to horror back then...

Here is the evolution of the set up me and my boyfriend have gone through. We have finally changed it all around and now it's really nice and cosy compared to cramped. I know, it's all a little bit messy.
