I am considering purchasing Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness: Episode One and I was hoping I might hear something from those who have played it already. How did you like it? My general feeling is that any game with a title like that is worth looking into.

I haven't played it and the closest I will ever come is buying Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive Peope. (But you can play too!)
I for one enjoyed the humor but mspencer82 is right, a lot of the jokes are pretty vulgar and not for kids. Anyone who likes the comic will probably like the game and those who haven?t read the comic it might make them a fan. Also props for the Silent Pope, possibly the funniest bosses ever.
There is a demo for PC - try it out, I haven't really cared about this game despite how much I love PA but, the demo is on www.fileshack.com and probably on their main site too.
I've enjoyed it, apart from a few frustrating moments (that freaking darts mini game for example), mostly caused by having to use a laptop without a mouse, and the fact that it doesnt seem to register my key presses in time with on screen actions... still havent defeated the final boss yet though
