So, I just recently found this:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/poots/kingdom-death-monster?ref=card

and decided that i wanted to get back into painting miniatures. I was pretty deep into Warhammer, when i was younger, and have very fond memories or painting in my room for hours. Unfortunately, almost every one of the figures from the link I placed above are sold out.

So . . . Does anyone know of any other really pretty resin miniatures that I could buy and paint?

Resin, no. For metal you could go for Reaper's Master Series, similar price and, I imagine, scale.

Also, Scibor do some very detailed "totally not warhammer, honest" miniatures.

If you don't mind raping your wallet, some of Games Workshop's ForgeWorld models are gorgeous. But otherwise, I wouldn't recommend them.

"Infinity" by Corvus Belli has arguably some of the most consistently high-quality miniatures in the market right now, and the game is great as well. Miniatures are 28mm metal:

If you're into resin miniatures that you just want to paint, "Guild of Harmony" makes 32mm minis of various influences:

Just once, I would like to see a fantasy-setting miniature series where the female characters are reasonably dressed...

My internet connection seems to refuse to let me access anything that has something to do with it, but check out Banebeasts.
There's some cool shit there.

In that kickstarter some of those female designs are laughably bad.

i have only played Warhammer 40k, but i have been looking for some table top games to play, but im looking ofr a game rather than some arty model to paint because i cant paint to save me life.

Completely agree with this!

And the new Warzone Resurrection minis are awfully nice!

The figures are made of metal, not resin, but they look great anyway.

Much as i'd like to pledge to get the minis, i'd have to cough up an additional $25 for them to ship to me :(
