Which Videogame do you think looks the most beautiful; either with awe-inspiring graphics or just absolutely gorgeous aesthetics?

Journey looks real nice. Very pretty.

There's also Okami. Doesn't look the best, and it really starts looking better in motion, but it has its charms.

Also the texture quality kind of sucks but I can't deny my love for the aesthetic in Dark Souls.

Pretty much Okami fill in that spot.

Other than that I guess Guild Wars 1, 2, Monster Hunter and Prince of Persaa (the newer one) did had some scenery in my view (what I can think of at the moment).

I have to say Final Fantasy 13 or Halo 4.

Final Fantasy 13 is just a beautiful game with beautiful locations. Sure you walk in a straight line the whole game, but atleast the backdrops looks awesome.

Halo has never been known for good graphics, actually more like known for bad graphics. But Halo 4 is an amazing looking game.

I'm going to have to say Sonic Generations. And nothing else because I haven't the time.
But come on the levels in that game are freaking beautiful.

Child of Eden is pretty damn gorgeous.

So is El Shaddai...

Someone already mentioned Final Fantasy XIII, so I'll just echo that sentiment.

You are ALL wrong! Trine 2 is hands down prettiest game ever made.

Everything is so crisp and colourful.

Go look up some more Trine 2 screenshots and be amazed damnit!

I agree with so many of these already but I'll add one of my own.

Viva Pinata

Such a wide range of colour used throughout both Viva Pinata and the sequel Trouble In Paradise.

I'll also mention Mirror's Edge and its' very slick and clean presentation too.

Spec Ops: The Line, hands down. The choice of colours, patterns and motives is absolutely fascinating, especially considering how dark the story of the game gets. It stands in vivid contrast and is very beautiful.

Deadandthrills has plenty of great screenshots which show what I mean.

Well, two of my favorites (Okami and Journey) have already been mentioned so I'll say Folklore. It was a good, but not great game, an it looked very pretty. Especially when you consider how early in the PS3's life it was released.

It's a tossup between Guild Wars 2 and Skyrim. Guild wars 2 is very unique in addition to being pretty.
Trine 2 is nice too.

In terms of raw graphics I would say Uncharted 2/3 and Killzone 2/3.

In terms of art style I would say Oblivion (I found it to be more pleasant than Skyrim visually, mainly due to it's coloring and lush hills and forests)and Red Dead Redemption.

Skyrim is one of the few games that I can just look and admire the scenery

Oblivion has some nice views too, but I don't have any screen shots of those.

The new DMC has some really unique visuals.

And while I haven't played it yet, from what I've seen from footage and the demo, El Shaddai: Ascension Of The Metatron looks to be the most beautiful game I've ever laid my mortal eyes on.

Bioshock Infinite has to be the best looking game I've played up to this point. The lighting and ambient occlusion effects are just spectacular.
