Hey!

I've been a member of the pubclub and lurking around for over a year now, but here goes my first post on The Escapist about an underplayed game that I truely love!

Has anyone here tried Prime World? I found it by accident back in May when the beta weekends were first starting, and I've been playing it almost religiously since it was released in July. For those of you who don't know what it is, here is a brief explanation

Nival, the developer of big titles such as Heroes of Might and Magic V, Etherlords, Blitzkrieg and Kings Bounty are trying to enter the NA/EU market with their russian success game Prime World. The game itself is one of the largest games in russia, and it's core gameplay is that of a MOBA game such as League of Legends and DotA 2. However, there are some key aspects that make the game unique, such as a talent system that allows you to almost fully customize your hero. Of course, every hero has a few talents that are unique to them, so they aren't all the same.

There is also a castle which allows you to gather resources and produce talents when you are waiting for games in queue.

Personally I think it's a game with great potential, and it has a much better community than all the other MOBA games that I have played. It does have some features that we would consider weird or odd here outside of Russia, but in my opinion that just makes the game that much more exciting!

I've actually played the game too! It's PHENOMENAL. It is so unique and is like nothing I've ever played. It greatly expands past the generic MOBA genre and makes a game for itself. I've been playing for just a few months and I can't think of another game that i'd rather spend my time playing. I HIGHLY recommend this game to everyone, even those who particularly dislike the MOBA experience, or are interested in trying out the MOBA genre. It really is something else and if anyone would ask me my honest opinion I was for sure say it does not have the popularity it deserves and everyone who is anyone should jump on it!

A game Worth giving a try if you ask me. I been playing it for a while and in term of game it's one of the mobas i like the most because of the customisation it gives to the heroes. There is some ressources management involved (don't expect it to be easy, you need to actually do some kind of work and have half a brain at least to be able to progress in it). If you like games that are challenging and a good mix of MOBA and RPG elements you should give it a try.
