I got this game a few days after it came out (PC) and I just LOVE it. The game runs great, the story line is amazing, and the graphics are completely BEAUTIFUL! Please feel free to discuss this great game in this topic, and make sure to mark your spoilers =)

Why shouldn't I? I don't want to have to type my thoughts on the game all over again, and I get more comments on my review styling. You don't have to click on it if you don't want to.

Work on your grammar.

Prince of Persia 2008 is more of a ride than a video game. The input that is required is laughable and for the most part the game plays itself. It's virtually impossible to get lost, or even to get stuck on a puzzle.

It's beautiful to watch, but there's no replay value. I'd call it a rental at best.

Because... well... because I said so. The blue distracts me. Really, I don't mind. I was just trying to be funny(guess it didn't work. It is a nice reveiw by the way.

Loving it, except for the Warrior. my heart should not feel like exploding when trying to win a QTE.

Otherwise I do enjoy it, there's not a lot of combat but I fell in love with the exploring.

As The Prince puts it "Run, Jump, Die. Run Jump Die. Hey i'm getting the hang of this"
Yeah, there could be more combat. Good thing its fun or else I would be mad. Also, I wish you could also accually kill your enemies instead of just hitting them a few times and then having the prince kill them. Why don't they just have shorter health bars?

Thank you, its hard to be funny on forums - because you didn't include a lol or =p or even a [/sarcasm], I presumed you were insulting me.

I really, really, really recommend using the talk button in the game. Probably the best part of the game and considering I loved the whole thing, those conversations have to be really something.

Seriously. My advice is putting the controller on a flat surface and mashing X/Square with your index finger, much easier.

Or how about letting fight more than one soldier at a time? I mean, then the combos could be even bigger, because one button could be dedicated to switching targets. By the way, I'm pissed that I know what the 14 button combo (for the achievement) is, but I can't use it because the soldiers die too quickly and the bosses block everything.

That said, I really like the look and feel of combat. Actually having slight control over a second protagonist in combat is a really nice touch, you never feel alone.

I saw the title and I thought to myself:

"goodness, they've moved the movie release date to this month!"

You got me all riled up for nothing. I hope you're happy.

I dont know. I like the 1 v 1 combat. But like I said, the enemies should be harder to balence it out a little.

I just started playing it today. Some of the platforming is a bit unintuitive, but it plays well (I'd say the platforming suffers from some of the same problems that I found with the platforming in Assassin's Creed). My problem with the game is that its strikes me as very easy and the combat, while epic to watch, doesn't involve that much effort on your part, the prince and Elika seem to take your commands as guidelines of what to do rather than commands.

i played the 1st 2 games in the series & they stood out for excellent platforming & combat but the new one is not as good in these areas, the platforming allthough generally well designed is too slow & clunky & the combat too simplyfied.

before it came out all the talk was about the visuals (everyone presumed the platforming & combat wud be great) and if the new visuals were a good thing or not. in the end the platforming & combat were a step backwards for the series & the visuals turned out to be the best thing about the game (they are good)

Well, I don't personally care, but some people do because it's pretty rude. It's a bit of a thread hijack, giving the impression of "Don't read this thread, read mine instead" since it's not really contributing to the OP.

That being said, I haven't contributed at all either. I'm pretty torn about getting the game, I don't tend to spend money much and want to be sure it's worth getting first.

I only talked to her twice in the whole game so did I miss out on something good? (I don't consider trophies/achievements good)
