Aiight, Escapists, I'm asking you for help because I dunno why. Just lately, I've been having problems with random YouTube videos.
Like, completely at random. Say, a video in a series will load perfectly fine at 720p, no worries. And then the next one, I click 720p, but soon the HD icon vanishes down in the quality section, and bringing up the quality menu results in greyed out 720p and 1080p options that I can't reselect.
That was several weeks ago. Now, it's more regular. To top it off, I'll have a video that loads 720p fine and loads the whole thing, and at the same damn time another video that does the problem I've mentioned above, and when I give up and watch it in 480p or 360p, it'll load 15-20 seconds of the video, then stop. I'll play it to that point, and the video stops. And several seconds later, it starts loading again...for the next 15-20 seconds.
As I've said, this is more regular now, but still irregular. My friend was having the same problem the other night, but I've been having it more. He also tried it in Chrome (we both use Firefox) and he got the same result.
So I ask you guys: the fuck is going on?
