Project Natal's name is now Kinect!

It was revealed that Natal would now be called Kinect. what are your opinions on the name?

It immediately reminded me of those old building toys back when I was a kid. KinX or somesuch. It was a bunch of plastic rods and some connectors they stuck into, made for some good times as a youngin.

I believe it's a play on the words "kinetic", regarding motion, and "connect", regarding... I dunno, family togetherness? I mean, it's more or less going for what the Wii is doing, so why not?

Rather disappointing. I got quite connected to Project Natal. Kinect, on the other hand, just sounds so....easily marketable, which would of course be the whole point.

I don't know what sounds more generic, "Kinect", or "Move".

K'Nex was good though. I liked that.

Don't like it. I've actually gotten quite used to Natal. Despite the fact that I'm not overly comfortable with the idea of it, I may go as far to say that the name is just good for it now.
