I got a pre-owned ps3 today, and it happened to come with a ps move and camera. My question is, are there any games that make them worth keeping, or am I better of just trading them in for credit?

Might as well keep it if it came with it. Some of the games use it decently I will say, although like all motion controls nothing is entirely accurate. Plus if you're trading it in to something like GameStop then you'll just be ripped off when it comes to what they'll give you.

How about keeping it for rail-shooters like the House of the Dead games, or the Umbrella Chronicles? I'll be honest, Ive been thinking of picking one up just for rail-shooters. No idea how accurate the inputs would be though....anyone know?

House of the Dead and Umbrella Chronicles are exclusive to the Nintendo Wii. Some games that use the PS Move are Okami HD, No More Heros (it was ported), some stuff in the Sly Cooper collection, Killzone 3 (actually works surprisingly well in it).
Anyway, one of the controllers has an analog stick, while the other one has button inputs.

You can buy House of the 3 &4, and Overkill on the PS store. Ditto goes for Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles.

Always keep your old consoles and peripherals and stuff. Who knows, they may be worth a lot more after the company in question stops making them, even if they were unpopular.

Huh, they ported them over? Did not know that? Are they only available as digital downloads, or are there possible physical copies?

Pretty sure they're only digital though there might be some Japanese physical copies. That said, they are pretty cheap. I think its ~$15 for a bundle for the respective games (was free awhile back if you were a PS+ member).

Well damn. I might just import the House of the Dead ones if they have physical copies in Japan, since I like physical over digital. Either way though it's probably a good idea that the OP keeps the PS Move set.
