PS3 Coop games

Hello all, me and my friend are searching games that can be played in coop, we prefer RPG
(We liked Champion of Norath on PS2)
1) No standard shooter like Call of duty, we rarely do like hem, but we liked game like James Bond Everything or Nothing on PS2
2) No Fighting game, we already know they all play competitively

Already known title: Resident Evil 5
Ultimatly I like to find a site where you could search for all game that can be played 2 player

Resident evil 5, its a lot of fun with a friend but without a friend it is pretty bad.

Little Big Planet. It's wicked fun with 2 people.

Unfortunately, I can't think of any co-op RPGs on the PS3.

Best stie to find co-op games... although it leaves out the PSN titles. Laura Croft and The GAurdian Of Light along with Dead nation are one of my fav coop games

There is a site called co-optimus.com, where you can find all the info you're looking for (all coop games, how many player online or off etc).

And as for my personal suggestion - Borderlands, it's more of an RPG than an FPS, and the entire campaign can be done with couch co-op.

Also, there is Hunted: The Demon's Forge coming in July, and they have just announced that it WILL have couch co-op xD

My husband and I have been on this quest for a while and have the same preferences as you! White Knight Chronicles is somewhat co-op. You can visit each other's towns that you make from the ground up and can go on extra quests together. It is a lot of fun. The actual story is single player though.

Borderlands isn't your typical shooter and is tons of fun with two people. I'm not much for shooters of any kind myself but I love it. There is a lot of character customization available, tons of quests, and a laid back style to it that is easy to get into.

Catherine is coming out for PS3 in a few months and though I don't know the details, it is supposed to have co-op in a competitive and cooperative sense.

rainbow 6 Vegas 2 is brillinat fun co op, that is slightly RPGy but it might be abit too FPSy for you to be a massive fan of... otherwise i got nothign...

I agree, Borderlands is fantastic.

I really liked Army of Two 1&2. I only played them on the 360 but they are available on the PS3. They are cover based shooters and you upgrade your weapons and gear with the money you make over the course of the game.
