PS3 gets Exclusive new Glitch with latest Fallout New Vegas patch

I shit you not.
This is what I read amongst the other "features" of the latest Fallout New Vegas patch on the Fallout wiki site:

If player is in the Dead Money expansion at the time of installation there is possibility that, upon loading, the character will spawn in Goodsprings with all armor and all weapons(except for the one equipped) gone from inventory; misc and aid items appear unaffected. Additionally, inventory from prior to entering the Sierra Madre map cannot be restored and access back to the Sierra Madre is denied.

This apparently only happens on the ps3... and they know about it... and they're releasing the patch anyway.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they could not release a patch that didn't cause additional problems.

Did we ps3 owners do something horrible to Todd Howard that I don't know about? Because I'm tempted to shit in the case and mail it to him.

Well, I'd expect nothing less from Bethesda. Having them bug-test New Vegas stuff makes as much sense as, well, as having Obsidian bug-test...

Games can still update.... somehow. Sounds weird but I've definitely gotten some updates.

Man, Fallout 3 on the PS3 had technical/graphical bugs a plenty, and now New Vegas gets magical 'fuck you!' glitch that removes your hard earned items, that sucks.. and with no console to just spawn them again either.

Yeah. I seem to be on the midline - I find a decent slice of bugs, but never the full buffet tablesworth. But those who complain the most are the most heard, so it kinda gives the impression everything is a swirling slop of bugs.

PC will vary wildly. I thought that a barebones 360 copy would be the bugfest if it was going to happen. Not trying to downplay anyone else's' problems.

I can understand that. But I just hate the "Well I'm not having any problems" comment. It helps nobody who has the problem, adds nothing to the conversation, and just makes the people afflicted with bugs feel worse because they know other people are having fun while they're stuck trying to figure they're stuff out.

Not trying to be mean or anything, but I just really hate that response.
