The Audio and Visual cables for my PS3 are not transmitting the sound and image into my TV, they were working before but all of a sudden arent, does anyone have any idea whats the matter?

This happens to me very occasionally, but the problem is the TV, not the PS3 or the cables. I just turn the TV off and then back on, and it works.

If you changed the input type recently (as in, going from RGB to HDMI or something), then the screen will be left blank.
What you can try is to turn the PS3 on with the console button and keep it pressed for some time until you hear a double beep. That way the PS3 searches for the input type and adjusts the screen accordingly. Keep in mind this is for old, fat PS3s, I don't know how it works with new ones.
