PS3 owners in my dorm are knocking on each others doors to figure out what the eff is going on. Sony has finally identified what went wrong and what is their solution "dont turn on your consoles till we find a fix" *facepalm* The error is in the Leap Year Algorithm which confused the ps3 when the time came to magically jump from Feb 28 to March 1. What are your thoughts? PS3 owners are you pissed? My slim isnt affected but Im stilled pissed because there is still a chance for my trophies to disappear!

I could care less about trophies, I just want my PS3 to be fully functional again.

I'm already very disenfranchised with the thing, this is hardly helping matters.

Would have been nice to know not to turn it on yesterday... when I turned it on. /facepalm

Wow... so a bunch of ps3 owners live in close proximity, and most likely own the same games. GOD, I bet you guys have so much fun! Frownyface, as even with an Xbox360 ( I own a Ps3, too but I have very little games for it, and nobody else I know plays it other than me) I don't really have the money to play the latest games, so while everyone is having fun on CoD, I play the Sims 2 for my computer.

This... is a good question. Why didn't this happen last year? I call senanegans. But really, in the grand scheme of things it's not that big a deal. With the large number of 360's that have RRODed, you had to expect something like this to happen to Sony sooner or later.

Its like Y2K all over again.
