What it says on the tin, Mass Effect 2 is free on Origin, so you might wanna scoop it up while you can.

I still don't have any problem to the end of the trilogy. My Sheppard said she was going to bring peace to the galaxy by any cost.... well Mass Genocide of all sentient life does bring a form of peace, doesn't it?

Hmm...on the one hand, I already have it on CD and ME3 really soured me to the franchise. On the other hand, ME2 was my favorite installment in the series and one of my favorite games in general for a while[footnote]Terminator Kaiju notwithstanding, it probably had the most tightly woven story of any of the games, easily the best climax (the entire suicide mission...again, barring the giant metal Skeletor), and the kind of character focus I love to see in games[/footnote] and my current computer doesn't actually have a CD drive[footnote]Lesson learned: Never treat even something so basic as a given when you're doing your research[/footnote] and I'm too stingy to get a separate drive unless it's necessary...plus I lose nothing by adding it to my Origin account regardless. So yeah, I guess I'll grab it.

I am still waiting for that Mass Effect Trilogy of all 3 games and all their DLC inlcluded combined into 1, and will make Save Transfer between games easier.

I guess they realized it was the only good Mass Effect game. Kinda' funny really. It's like the next time they make another Halo game, they release Halo Reach for free. "Here, take the good one, for free, please don't look at all the other games!"

I'll probably delete this within thirty minutes. Couldn't even finish the demo, it was so dull. But if it's free, I'll give it a try.
I'd recommend grabbing the Gibbed Save Editor for the game and adding a bit of backstory.

Even if you don't know of those events, they do make the game feel a lot richer simply by their presence.

The only bad thing about this offer is that the DLC is still paid. And it's still paid for using Bullshitioware points

If anyone grab it, play on insanity. The gameplay is shallow and dull otherwise, but on insanity you have to put a lot more though on your equipment, power upgrade and team composition.

It actually help the story too, when everyone is going "we need best team ever for the suicide mission" its a lot more convincing when the collector are actually a threat.

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth of course, but this is pretty neat until you notice all the DLC is still full price.

Seriously, conversion rate and all it'll cost me $130 about this side of the world to get all the DLC for both ME2 and 3 if I ever want it, c'mon EA.

But yeah, great game though definitely worth grabbing if you ever missed it.
