Has anyone other than me even wondered for a moment in the past month whether or not the hack job on PSN was perpetrated by a competitor?

I remember once living in Vancouver and there was an outbreak of Norwalk Virus on every major cruise line that went through the city, except for one. That meant that somehow thousands of sick people walked through the cruise centre and boarded ships but only one cruise line managed to escape without incident. How did not even one of those terribly contagious people not infect a passenger from Princess? Seems unfathomable to me. On top of that, no one ever got sick until the ships was out to sea for at least a day. This means that somehow all those sick people walked through the terminal and didn't infect anyone while contagious until after they had boarded the ship. I immediately thought it was espionage because only Princess got away without suffering from the thousands of paying customers trapped on a boat with a thousand other sick people barfing into the Pacific.

Anyway, why not XBL? Is it that much more secure than PSN? Perhaps Microsoft had a teenie hand in this episode? Afterall, not all hackers and pirates are above working for money.
