I've encountered a problem.
I bought a $20 PSN card last night. I get home, put in the code, and it tells me that I have $20 on the card, and asks if I want to put the funds in my wallet. When I click yes, it gives me error code "80023102".
Occasionally, it tells me the card has either been used, or something else happened, but usually tells me I have $20 on this card.
When I went off to do my research, I found that while many people had this problem, nobody seemed to actually know what the error code meant. Does ANYBODY know?
Now, ideally, I'd call SONY and ask them what the problem is, and what I can do about it. I'm aware that the first thing they ask, is for my phone number and name. I turned 16 yesterday, and according to playstation, I'm not allowed to have my own account unless I'm 18, so I'll have to put up with going through several menus to get to my child-account. I said bullshit to that, and made a master account.
I'm not sure whether to blame myself or not, but I'd really appreciate having this problem fixed. I called the bestbuy I bought it from, and they told me they only activate the cards. Any problems I have, have to be taken up with Sony.
Advice? Suggestions? Can anybody tell me what the hell this error code means?
