How? How do you forget to check the box and release your game on Steam? How stupid are these people?
heard of a game having its release date brought forward by a month, only people forgot to tell marketing so it died at retail...MatParker116 said:

"The expression derives from umble pie, which was a pie filled with the chopped or minced parts of a beast's 'pluck' - the heart, liver, lungs or 'lights' and kidneys, especially of deer but often other meats" - WikipediaSilentpony said:Aww now I want a piece of humble pie. That sounds delicious!
Yeah, that was my takeaway from it.Ishigami said:Quality standards and steam. That was a good one. Almost died of laughter.
Yep. Pretty much. I'm not a luddite to condemn this "new and disturbing to me" technology of delivering information through videos online but sometimes videos aren't better. This one is 5 minutes when it can be explained in text you read for 30 seconds. Make it a minute to pad the article into something that looks more "meaty". And yeah, The Know is so annoying - it's like you turn on the news but the background music for the news anchor is somebody dragging their nails on blackboard.Vigormortis said:Thanks for the video link, OP. A friendly reminder of how insufferable The Know are is never unwelcome.
I'm pretty sure 2-5 days isn't saying somebody would be actively looking at the game for that duration but that somebody would spend some time looking at the game within that time range. It could be 5 minutes in 4 days, for example. Or do you expect clicking "ready to release" to IMMEDIATELY summon somebody who will not eat drink or sleep for 5 days while doing whatever they need to do with the game?Seth Carter said:Yeah, that was my takeaway from it.
"Wait... 5 day quality standards?.... How?.....Does not computer"" *brain melt*
Sure, some games might hold up under that and show their cracks later, but there's lots on Steam that should be condemned to the trash incinerator within 5 minutes, nevermind 5 days.
Its probably just to check that publishers haven't gone 'rogue' and are literally trying to put Nazi propaganda on Steam or something. They probably don't QA check the game, just look it over to make sure nothing there's nothing like that there.Seth Carter said:Yeah, that was my takeaway from it.Ishigami said:Quality standards and steam.
