We've all bought stupid shit at one time or another. Sometimes it takes us a while before we really regret our purchase, but other times we regret it before we even get our change back. What have you bought that you've instantly regretted buying?

I bought a candy bar on Halloween once. I still feel really stupid about that.

My local movie store (since closed) used to have these "Buy 4 for $20 or $7.99 each" deals. Since I buy my movies in bulk I often had to throw in a crap movie or two to get the deal. So I wind up with movies like A Cinderella Story and Howling 3: The Marsupials that I regret buying, owning, and watching, in that order.

Hazen: The Dark Whispers.

Terrible. Terrible terrible. It was busted, buggy, boring and the first part of a series (so not even complete!)

Damn me and my craving for loot based games back then. However Borderlands did help me with that.

Modern Warfare 2.

Ultimately I ended up trading it in so I could get Mass Effect 2, now that was a good deal!

My Xbox 360...but I do give it a chance once in a while.
The Orange Box I KIND OF regret. If it wasn't for TF2. That saved it. I got for the Xbox 360. Then for the PC. I still play both versions

Baldur's Gate 2. With (1 or both expansions, probably both not sure) for 20 euro's.

Deinstalled it within 5 minutes <_<
Managed to sell it on ebay a few months ago.. half the money I got for it was spent sending it :(.

Guild Wars - don't get me wrong I LOVED the game but it was just one of those spontaneous purchases. I literally saw it in the new releases at gamestation all those years ago and figured "hey I have some money! I'ma buy this!" Then halfway through buying it I remembered that I knew nothing about it; I hadn't even read the back and didn't know what genre it was, I just bought it because it had a cool cover. Luckily I was proven wrong.

Some Direct3D book for beginners. I never wanted to learn Direct3D, let alone any 3D programming so I have no idea why I bought it.

Onslaught for BFBC 2. Especially because the day after I bought that, the Metro 2033 DLC was released.

HA!

OT: I'm sure the are bunch of steam games I've bought on sales, just because they are so damn cheap (even though I will never play them), but I cba to make a list. Damn steam sales :|
