Quake Live! whos exited?

ok so for those who dont know, id software is developing a browser based quake III remake.
it in beta right now but i think it should go live soon. it looks pretty awesome, and the best part? its FREE. thats right its completely free. im looking forward to it. post your insight on this game.

no much known about it but im looking forward to it.

Saw this on shacknews, the fact that id is making it free and browser based already has me excited, I can just log in and play, no visit to the store.

The Quake games don't have much in common with each other except that they're both FPS games and the name. And it's not like you'll lose anything by trying the free version out.

Quake Live just might respark my interesting Q3. Used to play that game like a fiend although mostly with the CPMA mod back in the day.
