So I just looked at the steam store and Quantum Break is out, and I'm incredibly confused.

First I thought it was supposed to be a windows store exclusive, but it's out on Steam.

Second I thought it was supposed to be windows 10 exclusive and yet the steam store says that windows 7 is a minimum requirement.

Finally, I thought this game had hype behind it, and looked fairly decent, so why have I heard nothing about this game's release?

Has anyone here played it? Is it any good?

Exclusivity outside Nintendo (for now) is irrelevant. Few games ever truly mean it.

I noticed this as well and thought it was a little odd.

Was planning on grabbing Forza, but may hold off for a little longer to see if it makes its way to Steam as well.

Saelune is right, but I didn't see Microsoft caving that quickly.

I can't guess why it's on steam or all that other stuff, but I have played it.

It was a decent game, although I never really liked how many shots people took to kill, and you can dash into people to stun to give you a brief second to shoot them point blank, but 90% of the time the bullets wouldn't connect so it was a pretty useless ability throughout the entire game.

It's average, very average, with shooting that didn't feel all that great. It does the time travel stuff kinda cool, although some plot things are pretty obvious. Never got around to beating the final boss though. It was a very annoying boss fight full of waves of tough enemies and literal kill zones being thrown around the room by the boss with no real strategy other than hope you can kill the scrubs in the time the boss pushes you out of cover. Wasn't fun, gave it a couple attempts before dropping the game for good.

No idea what's going on with the exclusivity or lack thereof, but the game itself is utter rubbish.

Lame shooting, bulletsponge enemies and the story is a convoluted mess that, as in common when time travel is involved, will fall apart the second you think about anything at all.

Oh, and in between sections of the game you can watch live-action episodes which look and feel like something you'd see made by amateurs on Youtube.

I heard it's shit. Shit story, sorta shit gameplay, and shit live action cutscenes that feel extremely out of place and break everything up in strange ways

I was interested in it until I heard it was rather meh. Even Littlefinger as the Villain doesn't make it much better. Even the idea of an episode of Fringe mixed with Max Payne with bits of Singularity mixed in doesn't save it, apparently.

I agree with live action scenes. they are useless. its worst remedy game. i was expecting like max payne but still its good. not as good as i expected.
