I'm not done with Quantum Break yet but some thoughts.

1. It is play anywhere so it's on my Xbox One and PC but I haven't been able to try it because my kids haven't let me near the Xbox in 6 months.
2. It is DX 12. I'm not sure if that is what makes it look so great, but it does. I think back a few short years to LA Noir and how amazed I was by the face capture technology and now this? A generation ahead. The characters look like the people portraying them.
3. The art direction is also very special. The time fracture visuals are unlike anything I've ever seen before and add a level of viewing pleasure I haven't experienced since Bioshock Infinite.
4. I'm playing on the easiest setting (it's how I roll) and it is very playable. I think this may have aggravated the hardcore gaming community that wants more of a challenge. That it is playable without cheats, to me, is a plus.
5. It has the type of story I enjoy. Sci-fi action. Been loving it since Logan's Run.
6. It has these "episodes". Breaks in gaming that are like mini-sifi T.V. shows that can be a 1/2 hour long. They're OK. I could live without them.

Here's the scary thing: I feel like I better rush through this as, those T.V. episodes are not on my computer. They are being streamed from another source. If that source goes away (not that I'm pointing a finger at you, Microsoft's Games for Windows) does the game become unplayable? Dunno.

But so far, I'm having a blast with it. About 2/5ths through it. I hope it stays this good.

Anyone else playing? Have you heard anything about that streaming component?
