So being well aware this is the year for endless complaints about game endings, I decided to sadistically rub my hands together and make another thread with such a complaint with the intention of annoying you all.
Actually, I couldn't care less about Mass Effect but I did quite like Quantum Conundrum up until the ending. Unlike Mass Effect I couldn't really imagine anyone finding it satisfying in any way except the fact it was technically a conclusion.
I think this might have been what they were planning but didn't think it out well enough to execute it.

I mean it didn't resolve the story and was basically just a badly animated flash graphic. Besides that, the Professor's comments during the game seemed to suggest there was something more than what he was telling you, and that the developers had something planned, a surprise maybe.
Here's what I would have expected: The Professor tells you the whole thing was a test for your initiation into the Science Juice Club as his apprentice. He wasn't really trapped in another dimension, he just wanted to see if you were good enough with manipulating dimensions to learn about a secret new project of his, which could be a way to enter Ike's dimension. Then there could be a sequel set in Ike's world where you're a fully qualified Apprentice with a glove with full capabilities. There could even be a cake as a reward, something you were denied in Portal.
